The Power of the Ocean ~ Feminine Leadership

Hi everyone,

Last week I was in Mexico City certifying Ontological coaches, as well as, preparing another team to be certified in about six months.

The week before, I was in Maui snorkeling, flying in a helicopter, eating great food, dancing and being open to receive the many, many gifts I’m present to, while living and dwelling with others.

My adventure in Maui brought me face to face with what I believe many women confront at some point in their lives— negative assessments about their bodies. I wanted to snorkel, but I didn’t want to put on a bathing suit. I could have kept my clothes on and gone in the water, but I thought that would be more awkward than my bathing suit.

I honored my choice to snorkel, purchased a new one piece bathing suit and went in the ocean. The ocean was absolutely beautiful and not one single fish, as far as I know, rejected me because of my body, and neither did any of the people on the beach.

The ocean is usually referred to as a she. Her organic and fluid power contains many life forms and is constantly receiving and transforming life itself. The ocean is spacious, receptive and free to give her gifts, either life or death to all who enters. The feminine is not gender specific, but rather a principle, that when not distinguished and honored, is greatly weakened.

The Feminine Face of Leadership and Power is a conversation that lets you love yourself while engaging with others in the full acceptance and beauty of life. Power is knowing your worth and letting go of self judgments that limit you from living your dreams and contributing to others living theirs. Feminine Leadership is authentic power, when the principles of both the masculine and feminine are united to contribute to the whole of humanity.

You have the power of the ocean.

Many blessings…

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is not safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.”
